Sounds Like a

Good God Story

A Scientific and Religious Argument

Sounds Like a Good God Story explores warfare and conflict from the battles that began in heaven to the struggles that shape our world today. Duncan Russell examines how celestial conflicts mirror those on earth, framing them as a clash between theists and atheists, religion and science. Through this lens, he highlights the surprising similarities between these opposing perspectives and seeks to bridge the divide by fostering greater understanding of each other’s worlds. With a belief in the ‘brotherhood of mankind’, Russell’s central message is clear: regardless of our differences, we share a moral and spiritual desire for peace. He also invites the reader to reflect on the fact that even in the chaos of war, humanity can be found – and that perhaps this is another proof of God’s existence.
